Silver Aisle was founded in 2020 by Sri Lankan technology entrepreneur Yanika Amarasekera-Siyaguna, who was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2025. The platform was built to modernise gifting in Sri Lanka by combining a technology-led ordering experience with curation and white-glove delivery.

The edit ranges from about LKR 8,450 to LKR 45,450 inclusive of tax, deliberately spanning accessible and premium choices. Florals and desserts sit at the lower end, platters and dining experiences in the middle, and spa rituals and boutique hotel stays at the top. Delivery is calculated separately at checkout by location.

It is a shortcut through a catalogue of several hundred products. Where the Most Popular collection reflects what sells, the Founder’s Edit reflects a single point of view about what gifts well, which makes it useful when you want something considered rather than safe. Most items are available for same-day delivery.

Most are. Items marked same-day delivery reach the recipient the same day when ordered before 2pm Sri Lanka time within Greater Colombo, and the following day for later orders. A small number, including certain florals and made-to-order desserts, are next-day and show their earliest available date at checkout.

Silver Aisle curates rather than stocks. Every product and partner is selected for the collection, orders are quality-checked in-house before handover, and gifts travel in air-conditioned vehicles. The range also pairs traditional gifting with experiences, so a single site covers florals, patisserie, spa, dining, workshops and hotel stays.
